Styling class for Follows only! J Develop your style early! 100% Salsa! Let loose! “Who’s Sexy?” Fundamental styling, balance, coordination and ladies footwork class with lots of attitude! Themes change monthly and the class can be taken for extended time frames and feel like you are continuously learning new things! Great for levels from Blind through Precision!

Open to all levels. Great class to start considering if you haven’t done so already! Excellent to get you aware of body movement and expression through the roots of Latin music. All moves can be applied to your Salsa Repertoire! Dress comfortable and flat dancing shoes highly recommended.

Complete both sections of Hot Chips N’ Salsa to warm up here! If you wish to get in earlier, you may sign up for Kick It but you MUST take your 2nd Hot Chips N’ Salsa class session at the same time. If you cannot combine them you must have completed 2 Hot N’ Salsa class sessions to enter. Intermediate footwork class. Runs in a series of 3 different themes

Must complete 2 consecutive Kick-It Klass sessions to enter. Themes change each session and are posted. Precision themes and Kick It themes do not overlap the same moves in the sameme session. Try taking Precision at the same time as your 3rd Kick-It Klass if you qualify! Master the steps you have learned until now. Move faster, Lead better, Follow phenomenally around the floor! Classes rotate in series of 3 sessions.

Complete 1 Blind, 3 Kick-It Klass sessions and at least 1 Precision to enter. Experience the fun of good footwork and “shines” on the dance floor! A way to connect your personality with the music you hear, express yourself by playing with musicality and feel good about your advanced timing skills in each dance. The focus is advance footwork patterns and free styling. So the next time you want to freestyle dance with your partner, you’ll feel lots more confidant! Enjoy!

Cha Cha Cheros would need 1 Fancy Footwork (or taking it at the same time of this class) and 1 Precision under your belt to play here. Ready to use your Salsa skills to master a brand new dance? Try our fast-paced Cha Cha class! You already know how to lead/follow, so now it’s time to take what you know and incorporate it into the rhythm of Cha Cha Cha! Class is fast-paced with an emphasis on timing and footwork rather than lead/follow technique. Both Cha Cha “on 1” and “on 2” will be covered! Get ready to “play” a lot more on that dance floor!

Complete 1 Blind, 3 Kick-It Klass sessions, at least 1 Precision, and have either taken 1 Fancy Footwork or will take it at the same time to drill here! Intermediate turning combinations and patterns. Combinations change each month. Runs in series of 3 and can be taken for as long as you wish and even rotate instructors to keep expanding your combinations!

Complete 1 Blind, 3 Kick-It Klass sessions, at least 1 Precision, and have either taken 1 Fancy Footwork or will take it at the same time to get with the program! Cross body leads make up 60% of Salsa dancing in this town. Are you ready to improve your dancing with Chicago-Style moves? Different moves and techniques shown by each instructor and combos change monthly! You can take the same class by different instructors in the same month and still get new moves! You can CBL all you want at this level!

Complete 1 Blind, 3 Kick-It Klass sessions, at least 1 Precision, and have either taken 1 Fancy Footwork or will take it at the same time to style here! Marking is a style and dancing technique that makes Chicago unique. Learn how to accent a move, hit a musical beat with dancing, show off your partner and add a new dimension to your dancing! Different moves and techniques shown by each instructor and the instructors rotate their moves so they keep you challenged! You can take this class as long as you like so you can see how much variety there is!

Salseras need to be at the Let’s Start Turning Heads level or higher. Sassy can be taken during your 1st session of Let’s Start Turning Heads or equivalent. A complimentary class for Follows Fearless Footwork. Advanced Salsa Styling for the ladies! Enjoy styling to salsa and an occasional other rhythm in the same class and then go test it on the dance floor!

Welcome to a new culture of salsa dancing! La Rueda de Casino is great team dancing! The calls and moves shown can be used world-wide so you can jump into a “Rueda” any time you are out of the city and happen upon one in a night club! There are an infinite amount of moves to learn here and can enjoy learning them all for as long as you like! LSD now offers 4 levels of La Rueda. If you feel up to it, join our Student La Rueda Performance Team and show off your stuff at LSD Socials and other LSD events that pop up. Great class to learn moves period! You can use them in La Rueda or just for great social dancing!
